SUMMARY:
The Supplier Operations Lead oversees all operational workflows related to supplier list cleansing, data enrichment, account connection management, and cross-team administrative processes. This role ensures timely and accurate execution of core programs, manages high-volume operational demands, drives automation and process improvements, and provides support to assigned team members. The Manager partners with Sales, Salesforce Development, and other internal stakeholders to maintain consistent quality, efficiency, and alignment with organizational goals.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- List Cleansing and Data Normalization
- Monitor list cleansing and normalization workflows.
- Design and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy.
- Prioritize admin responsibilities to ensure 48-hour SLA compliance.
- Adjust processes dynamically during high-volume periods.
- Monitor quality and turnaround times; provide feedback when needed.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align expectations and quality standards.
- Sales Overlap
- Oversee the Sales Overlap process end-to-end.
- Design and improve search algorithms to enhance accuracy and speed.
- Prioritize admin workload to meet 48-hour SLA targets.
- Communicate with the Sales organization to ensure needs and timelines are met.
- Collaborate with internal teams to build and implement automation solutions.
- Explore scripting opportunities to improve throughput.
- Create custom overlap flows when required.
- Supplier List Enrichment
- Score original list quality and update corresponding Salesforce Opportunities.
- Enrich contact and firmographic data using ZoomInfo, Salesforce, and the Data Enrichment Tool.
- Overlap supplier lists against the Avetta Supplier Network.
- Format and update contact and company records to standardize data quality.
- Coordinate external enrichment with Netscribes and plan resource allocation during peak periods.
- Conduct system cross checks (private suppliers, client-pay only, pending deactivation, existing site connections, etc.).
- Reprioritize lists dynamically to meet urgent or high-value requests.
- Data Enrichment Tool Management
- Monitor the Data Enrichment Tool for bugs, workflow errors, and performance issues.
- Design and implement code enhancements.
- Create custom enrichment packages as requested.
- Maintain version control and documentation for tool updates.
- Monitor API performance and resolve issues in real time.
- Ensure industry codes and reference data remain updated.
- Account Connection Management
- Create, update, and monitor Salesforce reports related to account connections.
- Pull daily upgrade and system cross-check reports.
- Perform system cross checks (PQF placeholder connections, private suppliers, client-pay only, pending deactivation, existing connections).
- Create, update, and amend connection records in Salesforce and Avetta Connect.
- Monitor and action outstanding connection requests.
- Run SQL queries to support reporting and investigative needs.
- Collaborate with Salesforce Development to resolve system issues.
- Operational Admin Management
- Monitor daily workflows and operational capacity.
- Create and update process documentation and SOPs.
- Support assigned team members as needed.
- Analyze existing processes and recommend improvements.
- Identify automation opportunities to reduce administrative burden.
- Coordinate across teams to understand and meet administrative support needs.
- Allocate admin resources effectively based on demand.
- Technical Automation & Scripting
- Create Salesforce and Avetta Connect reports for internal stakeholders.
- Build SQL queries to support operational reporting and data analysis.
- Create and update JavaScript scripts for internal tools and workflows.
- Explore VBA and Python solutions to automate Excel-heavy or effort-intensive tasks.
IDEAL EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, & TRAINING:
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.
- Experience using CRM platforms such as Salesforce.
- Experience using coding and scripting languages for automation and process improvement.
- Understanding of database concepts, schema design, and relational data structures
- Advanced knowledge of Excel (formulas, automation, VBA) — 5+ years
- Intermediate Python proficiency — 2+ years
- Intermediate SQL proficiency — 2+ years
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
