- This role sits on one of Float's product-focused engineering squads, responsible for building end-to-end experiences used daily by thousands of Canadian businesses.
- You'll work across the stack to deliver intuitive, reliable, and scalable product features.
- Build and evolve end-to-end product features across backend, frontend, and APIs.
- Partner closely with Product and Design to deliver simple, intuitive user experiences.
- Translate customer needs into thoughtful technical solutions that scale.
- Own features in production, including iteration, reliability, and improvement over time.
🛠️ Requirements
- Experience building full stack product features in a modern web environment.
- Comfort working across backend, frontend, and APIs.
- Strong product and customer intuition.
- Ownership mindset for features in production.
- Curiosity, adaptability, and a desire to keep improving your craft.
- Bonus: experience with Python/Django, TypeScript/React, AWS, or fintech products.
