- Deepen IIX's presence in existing markets through knowledge-led engagement.
- Identify and prioritize new markets for IIX's expansion.

- Source and submit proposals for global and regional tenders.
🛠️ Requirements
- Master's degree in International Relations, Public Policy, Development Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 10-12 years of progressively senior experience in impact investing, sustainable finance, development finance, or government/multilateral partnerships, with a track record of driving business development at scale.
- Demonstrated success leading proposal development and securing funding from multilateral institutions, DFIs, bilateral donors, or governments, including complex RFPs and EOIs.
- Established network of relationships with government agencies, multilateral institutions, donors, and corporates across emerging markets, with the credibility to open new doors independently.
- Prior experience managing or mentoring a team, with the ability to build capability and set direction for a growing function.
- Strong strategic and analytical orientation, with the ability to translate market research into actionable positioning, new market entry decisions, and funding pursuits.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including experience representing an organization in high-level convenings, policy dialogues, or donor negotiations.
- Demonstrated ability to operate with significant autonomy while aligning closely with department and organizational leadership.
- Deep familiarity with the impact investing, sustainable finance, or MSME ecosystem; direct experience in one or more of IIX's focus geographies is an advantage.
- Willingness to travel extensively for partner engagement, business development, and program delivery.
