- Regulatory Awareness: Fundamental understanding of VSP safety guidelines and USPH regulations related to food safety and hygiene.
- Hygiene Practices: Commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and sanitation in all galley and dining areas.
- Galley Assistance: Assist in daily galley operations, including dishwashing, cleaning, and organization of kitchen equipment and supplies.
- Basic Culinary Preparation: Assist with basic food preparation tasks, including washing, chopping, and organizing ingredients as directed by the culinary team.
- Provisioning Support: Help in the provisioning process by assisting with the organization and storage of supplies.
🛠️ Requirements
- Cruise ship experience mandatory.
- 21+ years old, no offensive tattoos allowed.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred; basic food safety training is a plus.
- Minimum of 1 year in food and beverage operations or related experience, preferably in a hospitality or cruise line environment.
- Strong communication skills and proficiency in English are essential.
- Familiarity with food and beverage operational systems is a must.
- Michelin Star restaurant or hotel experience, especially in a sushi context, considered ideal.
- Willingness to live and work onboard the Yacht for extended periods.
- Safety Protocols: Ability to follow safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for all crew members.
